I think that this Food Store is very good.
always great produce - they always have what I am looking for. I have tried other places but the variety is not as good. Best one I have found yet.
I can find all kind of veggies in this farm. This prices most of the time are affordable.
I love buying my produce at Two ee's farm. The prices are great. I only wish they were open on Sunday.
Excellent produce, grown right on site.
Whenever I am in the area I stop and buy my produce (grown on site), bread, nuts and eggs. This store has excellent quality produce and the people are great to deal with
awesome selection of apples.my kids are always wanting to try something new and this is the best place for variety. know people who drive in from burnaby to surrey weekly just to shop at two EE's...
Excellent quality. Very cheap organic produce grown on-site.
I love this place! They grow a lot of their own veggies right on the property (ALWAYS organic) and the owner is very knowledgeable when it comes to questions about home remedies and homeopathy. Always a pleasure to talk to him.
Very good selection and variety. Very fresh and always good quality! I love shopping there.
I live just around the corner and this place always has the freshest fruit and vegetables. The prices are also really good and quality excellent.
I love it. It is good prices and good fresh vegies. Many they grow themslefs.
LOVE IT!! LOVE IT!! LOVE IT!! Great prices.Great quality!
We always go out of our way to get our produce here. A great variety of fruits of vegetables that stay fresh at home for longer than those bought at the big chain stores. Organic, local and the best prices anywhere.
This place is a little out of our way, but we wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. They have some of the best products and staff. The owner should be proud.
i shop at this store on a regular basis and usually love it, but this year the peaches we ordered for canning were either not ripe or rotten, any ones we could use would not peel - our canning was a disaster. Plus the strangest thing of all they were from California - Why would Two EE's provide USA peaches - You should never ever ASSUME
We stopped going here because it is a little further away since we moved, but went to get our canning goods this year and will keep going. It's worth the drive. Excellent selection, great quality, good prices and friendly staff!
I love Twoees but only wish that they had more greenhouses for local winter veggies. I'm still at a loss as to where to go for out of season local veggies. (
Unquestionably, the best farm in Surrey, organic to boot. The selection is outstanding. You will find here every vegetable you will ever want to cook even for your most sophisticated of recipes. I'm heading there right now! Thank You Two EE's!
I LOVE this store! I can get everything I need, plus more, for a great price, fresh, and very colorful!Much much better quality, prices, and friendly atmosphere then a regular food store anywhere. I will come here as long as I live in Surrey.
Best place ever -)
I really love this place. All those yuppie froo-froo organic markets are so pretentious. This is just good old fashioned quality products. However....what is disappointing is that they are trying to cut costs by importing from Mexico, Chile and other questionable produce countries. It's really too bad. I still buy their local stuff of course, but stay away from onions from New Zealand...imagine, New Zealand!
Expensive place when compared to Superstores and sell the same thing from Mexico, elsewhere. I am not sure if they really tell the truth about organic products. "Organic" has become an excuse to raise the prices of nearly everything. HAve they got certification? People should not be fooled by the name organic but unfortunately some folks believe that.
2 EES market is a great produce store to shop. Some reviewers suggest people are being tricked into thinking this is an organic market. It is both.To ensure you are buying organic all you have to do is look at the sticker on the fruit or veggy. If it starts with the number nine, then it is organic. If it starts with any other number then its open house for sprays.2EEs do business as honest and open as anyone and it is a pleasure to shop there.
We shop here all the time. To clarify the organic issue, they have some products that they grow on site, which are not sprayed but not certified. The son of the older man who has run the store for about 50 yrs has a 25 acre certified organic farm off-site, which supplies certified organics for sale. They do import food from other countries especially in the off season, but lets face it, any food store that didn't would not stay in business. All the food is clearly labeled for country or origin and if it is organic the sign says so. Great place to shop, and a committed family that has been there a long time.
I love this place and have been shopping here for 20 years. Always have the freshest produce and best prices in this area.
I love shopping at Two EE's. My only complaint is my own lack of self control. I always leave with much more than I intended. Regarding the Organic question and country of origin - everything is carefully labelled. I can make informed choices when buying.
One stop shop!!
fresh fruit and vegetables, have excellent service.
The best place to shop because the vegetables are fresh , the selection is amazing. The prices are lower . Its healthy food too. Organic produce and organic breads and organic corn chips . I love the Dutch Gouda too. It is so delicious. Thank you also to the staff at twwo ee's for being cheerful and helpful
I love this market! Everything is always fresh and the owners and employees friendly.
Recommend them to all! Prices are also great! Thanks and keep up the great service.
I have been buying my produce from Two EE's for 4 years now for my family, and I. I have never been so happy with the quality, cost, organization, and various types of produce available! As a Nutritional Distributor, and educator, my family, and my diet consists of mostly vegetables, and fruits, NO Flour breads, also European style dark rye, pumpernickel, etc(which you can find here for a great price, and really are the ONLY good breads for you). I usually spend around $100.00 a week @ Two EE's for my produce, and breads, and recommend it to everyone, even those I do not know )
Thank you two EE's! I would literally drive across the lower-mainland for your produce, and breads )
Usually love this place but latley the produce is quite second rate...
LOVE this place! I worked at Two EE's all through my highschool years (20 years ago), and we regularly had tour buses stopping in from Vancouver Island for people to pick up fresh produce. The produce is always top-rate, and the family is hoest and trustworthy. You can completely trust their labels.
I love their fresh produce that lasts longer in my fridge than any other produce store!
I've bought my veggies there for years. I noticed that they are bringing more and more imported produce in. Mexico, Guatemala, Chile, New Zealand. I just do not want to buy that. Unfortunately it's probably time to look for another place that actually has local produce.
A quick tip for finding organic or "grown with out sprays" produce at Two ee's is the red boarder around our signs the conventional produce has a green boarder.
I am also trying to avoid things produced elsewhere....and am looking for a place that truly has local and supports our own farmers.
When I moved myto current home I was happy it was across the street from Two EEs. Now I am looking for another farmers market.
Alot of the produce is from foreign countrys where I don't trust their standards. Lately I have been getting produce from Two EEs that has been rotten. The quality is really bad.
The last two times I bought calliflower it looked fine but when I opened up the package I found it was rotten at the core.
lately, I returned some peaches and a box of large oranges (half of which were rotten). I expected a straight exchange for the oranges, but was surprised I had to pay $5.00 more because of "new stock". Why couldn't they sell me the "new stock" last week instead of selling off rotten oranges? Not that the plastic bags were their fault, but when I started loading up some apples in them, the bottom of the bag broke open and all the apples fell out.
Earlier on this month I purchased a box of granny smith apples. Because when you purchase a boxed item, it is covered. When I got them home and checked them out, about half were just turning yellow. Perhaps before they sell their stock to their costumers they check out the freshness first.
I'm still ticked off at the managers' response by not letting me have a straight exchange for the oranges for the mere inconvenience of having to return to the store for the exchange. CUSTOMER RELATIONS mean a lot to a long time customer!
Not sure if you all realize, but local produce is only available in season. If consumers want to have fresh produce in the off-season it will have to come from places like Mexico, Chile, etc. As well, some produce simply cannot be grown locally.
Thank you Two EE's for sourcing fresh product at the best possible prices from the nearest available source, and for supporting local growers in season!!
Just a bit of an explanation to the people complaining about the canning peaches this year. I've worked at two ee's for the last seven years until recently because I moved out of province. The reason much of the "local" okanagan produce was less than wonderful quality this summer, was because of some late frost the region experienced that destroyed a lot of the produce. This is also why the prices were more expensive on alot of summer fruit coming from that area. hoped that helps :)
Expensive! Rude cashiers! Rotten fruits at high prices! They say ORGANIC but it is a scam. Many imported ones with higher prices!
Years ago I worked in the produce industry in the Lower Mainland. Since moving out of province I miss the availability of quality fresh fruits and veg at reasonable prices. Now whenever I'm back in town I stop in at Two EE's to get my fix.
In response to some comments:
Two EE's does not pretend to be an ORGANIC produce store....They sell conventional as well as organic items. If an item is Organic, it is clearly marked as such. If it is conventionally grown, it is not labelled Organic. Quite simple, actually. Could hardly call that a scam...
In a store where I can touch, feel, heft and squeeze everything I buy, I've never bought any rotten fruit.
It bothers me too that when I want to buy oranges I can't buy BC Grown. Or when I want a peach in May it doesn't come from the Okanagan. Or when I want strawberries for Christmas dinner they don't come from local growers.... Not all produce is available BC Grown, and the produce that is grown in BC is not necessarily available year-round. Kudos to Two EE's for supplying the freshest fruits and veg available, year-round, at the best possible prices, selling BC Grown when it's available!!
My favorite place to get fresh produce. Anytime it's available in season locally they have it in Stock. And when we can't grow it locally they make sure to source it for those that want off season.
I'm glad to see an increase in not just certified organic but also grown without spray as well.
Always my first choice, Thank you all that work so hard to give us quality product.
Excellent
Staff is friendly and helpful. Locally grown produce is available in season. Good prices and good selection.
Tops! Have been shopping there since 1986 when we moved to Surrey and have rarely missed a week. Recommended.
Recently went back after fond memories of shopping here as a child with my grandmother. Prices are very reasonable, and often comparable to conventional grocery-store produce. The labelling is very clear, so even if their own organic produce is out of season, you can easily see where the rest of the food is from so you can shop as locally as possible. EEs definitely worth the drive from Coquitlam, and my sister and I will be carpooling here often; were proud to support a local and responsible business!
I like the in season veggies that are so good. I rarely eat carrotts that are not grown by them because they grow Nantes carrotts that are sweet. Their yellow fleshed potatoes and later on in the year the runner beans grown near the fence are very good. The bread is very good some from local organic bakeries and other from low cost makers. I choose a couple brands that give their ingredient list in detail.
Excellent! This is the best place for veggies, I've been shopping there for over 20 years, The best prices, excellent variety great local stuff when available. I spent way too much there today but who can resist local raspberries, cherries, english peas, cucumbers, green onions, sweet, yummy nantes carrots.......on and on! Great dairy products - try the cream cheese, so good. They are now offering organic meat - one store food shopping!! Please don't ever change!
Always fresh and good! Ive been going to Two EEs for years. Ive always found great produce and fruit here, and always fresh. They maintain a great reputation if you ask me.
looked at website for the 1st time t check prices. Not found any, but found politics(Surrey First)!!!!!
Excellent great prices, always fresh with good variety.
Prices have been getting as high as the grocery stores and I find a lot of the produce to be blemished or rotten even old at best. If I have to pay grocery store prices, may as well go to the grocery store where the product is a lot more fresh.
Excellent. I have been shopping at two ee's for 15 years. Great prices, great quality, good people.
Love this place!
